One of the wonderful City of Dallas Code Investigators shared this information with me about apartment standards. We talked about tenants having to be a bit more aggressive when dealing with non-responsive landlords and maintenance repairs. He said if we are having issues, we have to call right away while the violation is happening. His name is Phillip Darnell, Code Inspector II, 469-515-1064.
